Why do we fail to employ the right staff?

We have often asked ourselves as employers why do we fail to employ the right staff? The boss puts a nice face and is never kind to himself! There should be a 3 months probation without pay to see who is self motivated and has theoretical knowledge! This sounds wicked but never the less when the loan givers come to repossess due to none payment of loans who looses everything and files bankruptcy? 

The major part to delivery is self motivation that can either be or not be! If people are not interested in themselves it wouldn't matter what they went to study! If what they went to study isnt a part of their nature they cant tune on to finding solutions and will always bring you problems!

An analysis of the business model and the operating structure needs to be communicated to the staff, see if they understand the logic and only then one should put on permanent employment! A lot of employers are hiding their business plans and that keeps the staff oblivious from seeing the whole picture! Visualisation of a concept allows one to recognise the missing pieces and know how best to get them!

This is why I said that our educational system has failed to support the needs of businesses within our environment, we are manufacturing students who have no knowledge in business and structure and the business man himself not knowledged in business management! Your passion is good but implementing it is what makes a mess! There is never anything wrong with a business idea, its always the implementation!

Brand yourself or others will brand you!

We go to find ourselves in school but end up being lost! Instead of teaching your children to fit in the system teach them how to apply the system to themselves! 

Marking your child as a failure because he didn't pass maths while he is an art kid is wrong and they carry that sense of inadequacy all their life! Some are lucky to drop that baggage and some don't!

I deal with mothers and youth and my first hurdle is first getting them out of that hole, in some cases they win in some they drop because they haven't built courage within themselves! There is so much that one can do to encourage, but courage is an inbuilt system of thinking that brews from within!

The society, the education system coupled with the parents are bruising and still being bruised! Don't allow anyone to label you a rabbit if you see in yourself a lion! Brand yourself as you want others to see and walk the walk!

Why do employers request?

What is experience if not knowledge and skill! The fact that you know nothing of the environment you are going in is what makes you not see the skills required and what you have within you!

If you put people to test without education how will they succeed? There are those that continue to fail at the same thing because they never reexamine the previous mistakes! 

Education is about reexamining the successes and mistakes of previous ventures! If in The books that they read information is omitted and exercises are not presented then how do we expect them to be prepared? If there are no platforms to test the knowledge how will they know what they stand for?

Our formal education needs to be a stage where all probabilities are experienced and reevaluated before our kids graduate! This way when they sit before the employer they would know what to present and will gain the job should the CEO understand the needs and the mindset of what and who is proposing!

Why do employers request a minimum of 2-3 years work experience?

2-3 years of discipline and self discovery! Most employers come from the streets they paid their dues its your turn!

Go crazy - Learning to let go!

There is no true leader that is in business and dosnt follow moral rules. When you go into business a lot is grounded first on hope cos there is no yet proof.  Having morals fuels your creativity. When you believe in what you do it is always backed up by some form of principle you believe in. Separation of state and church is required, how ever they replace each other. When there is no hope there will be no action, When there is no action there will be no hope.

Leaders that are not creative cant see solutions "varying vantage points" spirituality helps to unlock the inhibitions. If you are in a box how can you lead? They say there is nothing like business ethics only personal ethics. When your personal beliefs are impaired by fear you are less likely to see good solutions and you will make bad decisions.

Creative people are mad in the eyes of others and thats why they look scary. Well if that keeps you away all the better for he who is moving ahead. In the business world just as in war everything is based on deception. Which is why people put up fronts of a perfect image, when you look good those who bite on that apple get their reward. In the business that i am in i need mad but good hearted people because without that the vision cant be implemented! In helping entrepreneurs i spend stupid amount of time unlocking their potential. When they are inhibited by societal rules and regulations they never succeed in providing specially tailored solutions to the individualistic demands of the market. "Can you go crazy with an idea?"; Thats my first test to decide if i can proceed with the person.

An entrepreneur is an advocate for a cause, either he is conservative or liberal thats their choice but they must accept a concept of self. For me to embrace all i have to be controversial. I dont stick to one particular mentality because that inhibits opportunities. I have to be able to sit in everyones shoes and that means i have to be madder than the world. Thats what thinking big means in business. There is a method to my madness, it has a purpose; to unlock in you how you think. Everything is allowed but everything has its time.

For instance; for youth sex is a no no only because they cant yet manage the after effects but there are also adults that cant seem to grasp the word responsibility and there are "the young" who can rule the world, so where then do you fit in on the mapped age in the laws, rules and regulations? Being organised is difficult for many people which includes the politicians! Fear not for i am with you in spirit!

Starting: The bigger the picture the wider the spectrum!

A dream doesn't need money! It makes you search for creative ways to make money!
When the money comes you will know where to put it! Start dreaming of a solution! Share it and see the magic happen!

When starting a business the hardest part is keeping enthusiasm! The bigger the picture the wider the spectrum for of things to keep you busy!

Understanding that in business you will always have limitations in terms of finance and logistics as a startup, you need to look at the best creative method for assembly and delivery, then make your presentation to your market and see what happens! There is always a client that will take you to the next level!

Lets have an analysis of the following picture.

Point 1: Knowing the cost of not solving the problem: No Need and Awareness phases!
Every entrepreneur starts with the question "do they need my solution"? this is where startups put themselves in a fix, instead of having a basic concept they venture into creating a product. What they should be creating is an IMAGE "standing out as an expert like a consultant, its a cheeper way in starting in business".

How does one start in becoming a consultant? For starters the question to ask is "is the market aware that they have a problem"? Does the market know the consequences in not solving the problem? To me this is usually the first point in finding out if you have the opportunity to connect to a market. This is usually done through the PR channels. Radio is most effective and at times cheep  for bringing news to a wide public. Usually a market isn't aware that they have a problem let alone identify solution providers, so one is more likely as an entrepreneur to first draw awareness to the problem and then show them the solution.

Point 2: Knowing solutions for me are available. Research and shortlisting!
Your solution is what pays the bill. At what cost it would be for you to provide the solution is only gotten when your leads contact you. Here your basic design of solution pathways start developing. Through Investigating their unique problems you will be able to design specific solutions to them. Do not rush in sending out invoices because you need to look at all the available complaints of your leads to design one or 2 solutions that can possibly solve all their problems.

Usually those who have identified their problems are in a rush for a solution but don't like to pay until it is solved so you will have to have the skills in managing their fears. also at this point you may have to turn down some leads because it may become too expensive or expansive to deliver the job. In the process of shortlisting you need to categorise your leads into stages i.e.. who can be fixed now, soon or later. This is a time and resource management skill.

Point 3. Closing up the deal and Implementation. 
Remember you are not the only one in the market who could possibly be providing same solutions as you. there are always bigger and smaller competitors too deal with leads you may not be able to handle. So network with competitors as partners. Clients choose for many reasons but trust is what they stay with.

Creating opportunities!!!

Continuum

Creating  your own opportunities is the very meaning of having a Continuum! As you go on into providing solutions as a consultant you need to be aware that consulting isn't necessarily a business, it is a process of delivery. i.e. researching and analysing data. A business is an organisation! it is more complex than just its services or products. It is more involved with managing not just clients but staff, partnerships and investments. As one grows one is attracting or needs to attract more resources, this is done through using processes and procedures i.e. the very meaning of organising resources and resourceful alliances that help not just you but at minimum having a meaningful contribution to  "economic" growth.

You will be dealing with establishing and maintaining a Vision and establishing your Mission path if you are on your own.
Your company vision is tied to a growth development phase of a given country(s) you are established in, and your mission is to identify how you choose in supporting that growth. If the country is growing then usually it should mean your company is growing too, however most startups are more inclined to providing a vision and designing a mission that isn't revolving around a country but its owner.

In a perfect situation the government should be connecting with business owners and their companies to drive the economy, this usually happens through professional associations but if not  then everyone ends up on their own and only by a  miracle find themselves solving problems from different ends and it will take time to achieve  objectives.

The objective of a business is to make money for growth and expansion; the well being of management, staff and the value added resources that support the company's growth. The objectives show commitment to the care of those who are within the company. The Mission shows commitment to managing the market and The Vision shows the commitment to growing further. Objectives never change but the Vision and Mission changes as one gets from one phase to the next.

I had initially touched on the concept “theory” of building designs it was the theory of how new ideas evolve from one stance into multiple options, this is in reference to understanding perspectives be it relating to products or service options, in consulting there are in my view should be a varying amount of options, in products this is identified in levels of quality, there are also levels of effectiveness in services. These are talents that are used in industries, what we see today lay in these foundations someone improved on it and we have what we have, personally I yell out in my car to have done what I had, singing may not be my outmost forte even if I am looking forward to making at least one single. I studied sounds that way, my son needs me to practice on myself to enable him in a world of bastards who would rather drug him to ease their job.

I am sure that in the minds of most parents there is a question that stands “how do we prepare our kids to see and take opportunities by the horn in preparation for adulthood without being brainwashed by academic demands in certain professions, the above listed are activities that kids will find as fun and most of them gives a general understanding of how things evolved, as regards how societies evolved cultural themes through artistic expressions helps them to be more lenient to change rather than subjecting them to a particular type, its time to accept that there will always be white, black, and understanding the varied colored culture of lifestyles all over the world both within and outside their reach. White just as black is limited in their extremal understanding of life and they also need to realize that however they may not like it. I have a son who is of Tatar, Sierra-Leone, Ghanaian, Nigerian “edo/yourouba”decent and that puts me in a position to demand from anyone to realize that his dark skin has nothing to do with him, I may sound off-handish at this point but never the less it is the reality of an inexposed world we live in, this is the world I am in its colorful and I will not have anyone limiting him to their ocular receptivity and limited experience of life. I am still having to deal with in SA with the fact that a nation of couloreds cant comprehend that there is a mixed culture also existing, sorry but no sorry there is a distinct difference, aggression doesn’t exist within it is determination due to knowing where my roots come from, I am not about to loose who I am like they did, say you all thanks to the methods of apartheid just as the coloured Americans who cant find their bearings around the pains passed on through generations, yes the vast majority of coloureds are in a bad state emotionally, that would be the first thing to look at before proceeding into economics, I have paid the price of distrust because of that. I am very aware of what mixed and coloureds went through and still do, it is a violent nature we were plunged into by greedy and ignorant societies, no jokes made. To see only Trevor Noah as a face internally and internationally is appalling same it is with Nigeria as Osas is the only mixd boy representing and this is why I am questioning the stand of the mothers who call themselves diaspora, to even speak of other worlds would take half a page. hello what happened? Are the colureds so faceless that living in penury is the only way? Sad.

Should interest levels be defined by earning power what you gain in financial terms you all will find yourselves depressed at the effort it takes to pull oneself out of a hole that systems had built and it is honestly in your minds and hearts nothing more or less. To have an attitude towards your own lies is as good as trapping yourselves. 

The study of talents leads to understanding the industries when at a growth level stage.

A business plan - how can it fly?

Investors get bored with lack of imagination in interpreting concepts. Use and show your Imagination- thats what i think a business plan should be! A business plan is not just a fine presentation paper on your hopes!

Have you ever held an eagle or a dove and wonder how it can fly? Different investors have different objectives. Remember that you are your own major investor so your business plan has to capture it all but your other investors need to see what part of the company they are investing in and what they will get in return. Lets look at the variety of investors that may exist. Your staff, your suppliers, shareholders, partners, consultants; what i mean is that any party that is contributing to your business is an investor.

You should be prepared to shed of the weight of your dream to enable it fly! Business Plans vary depending on who you are presenting it to. The Business plan that you need to draft for yourself as the owner is different from the one you show to investors in your solutions and or the investors in your company. Think of your plan as a Trade secret. A magic Blue print that not everyone should see in full because hey you may loose your nest and the golden goose to a competitor! Investors also should be screened just as you are being screened by them. Who said that everyone you shake hands with is a friend? Your confidence level isn't to be submitted just because you are looking for funds or other types of resources. You are the golden goose who lays the golden eggs and those who want a share should also be prepared to build the nest. Investors are not gods, they are same type of people like you with limitations, limits and fears. You owe it to yourself that they not only see your perspective but their perspectives on the market is relevant! They are actually a source of valuable information too.

You will have to accept changes, keep the discarded parts in mind as banking on future investment opportunities! Seeking Investment is like a job interview, you have to show you know your investor and show who you are and knowledge of the market space! Also bear in mind that your competitors might be speaking to them as well and your Business could be opposing their strategies!

They are investing in you and it is a risk because they could be mistaken, we have a lot of individuals who are smart enough to present a fine face but no substance! Heart isn't enough, taking things personal doesn't help because your lack of knowledge in who is sitting in front of you is clouded! You may have a passion but keep it to yourself so that no one dampens your drive!
