In my perception if you weigh the current temperature of the world people are tired of all the lies and manipulations, attitude's and bad experiences of personal hurts and social events that have transpired, all over the world and it has affected their faith. Given that people find it hard to forget they are likely to believe that the world will always be same unless someone is patient enough to show them otherwise. When one harbours pain they are more likely to attack.
